The years of time, money, and sweat equity have really paid off and now our backyard is an oasis that I have been spending all my free time in. (Peep my stories for the before!) But I still have a few finishing touches I’m working on. This weekend we are spending black basalt rock in our planting bed along the fence. I also have a crazy idea for a DIY bar for when we can entertain outdoors. And my fingers are crossed that I’ll soon by tiling the front porch of the studio. I can’t wait to share them all with you as we go!

Countdown to the weekend is on! And what's the best way to make the day go faster? Browsing Etsy, obviously.

Our en suite finally feels complete!! I have been wanting to do something to the walls since finishing the Barnhouse renovation but never quite found a concept that would work with the pattern on the floors. The solution? Design my own print! This print from my collection with ChasingPaper is called Gather. Last year I found several beautiful botanical outlines in an old book. I thought they were so sweet so I started cutting them out and arranging them. Initially, I was not sure that the outlines were impactful enough, but then I started putting the delicate flowers on top of rich colors like a deep plum, sage green, and earthy tones like mushroom and taupe. It almost feels like you are painting the walls in a beautiful hue, and flowers are just a bonus! More pictures and all 4 colorways on the new and improved ispydiy.com! 📸 Photos by the amazing annaspaller #cpXispydiy #peelstickYOLO #bayviewbarnhouse #wallpaper
